New Wellcare by Health Net Brand Launching Soon!

We are thrilled to share some exciting changes to our Health Net Medicare plans. Over the next few months, Health Net Medicare will be transitioning to the Wellcare name.
 
Though our name will be changing, our commitment to partnering with you to improve the health and well-being of our members is steadfast. In addition, your provider contract with Health Net Medicare remains active, and your Health Net Medicare members’ coverage, benefits and ID cards also stay the same for the 2021 plan year.

This fall, as we begin the process of informing Health Net Medicare members about this name transition, you will see a “bridging strategy” implemented. Current Health Net Medicare members will receive some communications (such as their 2022 ID cards) that incorporate both logos as “Wellcare by Health Net.” Members who are completely new to Wellcare for the 2022 plan year will receive communications with only the Wellcare logo.

We will be sending additional information about our transition to Wellcare in the days to come, including details about new product names, billing information and more.
