Trillium Medicaid Bi-Annual Capacity Review

Oregon Health Authority (OHA) requires Trillium to report in-network provider capacity on a bi-annual basis to ensure members in our communities have access to high-quality healthcare. As a participating Trillium provider, please provide your current Trillium patient capacity. As always, thank you for being a valuable provider partner in serving our community.

Trillium Community Benefit Initiatives Small Grant RFA

Trillium is excited to announce our Request for Applications (RFA) for 2023 Small Grants for Community Benefit Initiatives. 

All grant funding is designed to support projects that drive healthcare quality solutions to improve the social determinants of health in Trillium’s service areas. Proposed community-level interventions may support both Trillium Oregon Health Plan members and members of the larger community, and are focused on improving health outcomes, alleviating health disparities, and advancing health equity.

Organizations serving Lane, Western Douglas (Reedsport), Western Linn (Harrisburg), Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties are invited to apply. Organizations are encouraged to consider submitting joint applications for funding of projects with broad community impact and collaboration.

Gender Affirming Birth Work Training for Providers and Community Partners

Trillium is proud to sponsor a two-part virtual training series on “Gender Affirming Birth Work.” Facilitated by Moss Froom, a nonbinary birth worker and educator, these sessions will teach birth workers how to provide support that affirms and celebrates trans and queer families. Topics include context for the perinatal experiences of trans and queer families, best practices for providing gender affirming perinatal support, dispelling myths about trans reproductive issues, and much more.

ORAAC Request for Public Input: Crisis Care Guidelines

The Oregon Resource Allocation Advisory Committee (ORAAC) is advising the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on the development of updated crisis care guidelines. ORAAC is reviewing how decisions are made in Oregon during emergencies. The committee will recommend ways for hospitals and health systems to care for patients in these emergency situations.

The committee is interested to know what people in Oregon think about the options being considered. Please review the ORAAC Request for Public Comment document (PDF) to learn about these options.
